Tragedy Strikes: Elderly Woman Killed in Two-Vehicle Collision

A woman has died after a two-vehicle crash in Co Tyrone, police have confirmed.

Bernadette, who was from Lifford in Co Donegal and aged 82, tragically passed away following the collision. The incident occurred outside Omagh on Saturday afternoon, May 24th. APSNI statement revealed that she was driving a silver Toyota Vitz that collided with a blue Suzuki Vitara on the Mellon Road between Omagh and Newtownstewart near the folk park around 12.30pm.
Investigation Underway
Inspector Cherith Adair, from the Collision Investigation Unit, stated that inquiries are ongoing into the circumstances of the collision.
