Nicky Byrne's Wedding Performance Setback Revealed

Westlife star Nicky Byrne has opened up about the hiccup they encountered when they were booked to perform at Wayne Rooney's wedding in 2008. Rooney and partner Coleen tied the knot in a lavish, no-expense-spared ceremony 17 years ago, with Westlife and Stereophonics among those performing in Italy.
Learning a New Song on the Spot
Although Westlife had played hundreds of shows, they hit a snag when the Rooneys requested a song they had never performed. Coleen appeared on Nicky Byrne HQ, where the Westlife star shared his experience, as reported by the Irish Mirror. Byrne recalled the moment they were asked to sing a song titled 'I Do,' which they had recorded the year before on an album named 'Back Home.' The challenge was that recording an album doesn't always lead to performing every song live, making it a nerve-racking experience. Byrne mentioned the pressure of ensuring the harmonies were perfect for a song they had never sung in front of an audience before.
Podcast Ventures and More
Coleen made a visit to Ireland to promote her health and wellness range. She even shared a pint with Nicky as they toasted in his recording studio and backyard bar. Nicky Byrne has recently ventured into the podcast world, with guests like Brian McFadden, Gary Barlow, Paul McGrath, and Michael Flatley appearing on his show.
