Members of the West Belfast community gathered for a rally in solidarity with a family facing deportation after making the area their home for the past ten years.

Ten years ago, Shahnaaz Khan and her two children, Saira and Zuhaib, fled South Africa for their own safety. Their asylum claims were recently rejected, leading to uncertainty and fear for their future. The local community, including politicians and activists, joined forces outside the family's home to show support and call for intervention to allow the Khans to remain in Belfast.
