Don't Miss Out! Tesco Clubcard Update Impacts Millions

UK retail heavyweight Tesco is shaking things up on its Clubcard app and it wants customers to get with the programme by the end of March – specifically before the clock strikes midnight on Monday, March 31.
What's Happening
While some diehards still whip out their trusty plastic Clubcard or a dinky keyfob at checkout, many shoppers now reach for the Clubcard app on their smartphones. The age-old stress of hitting the till only to discover your Clubcard's gone MIA is a real mood killer.
The Change
The nifty app saves the day, letting customers load up and scan their Clubcard without needing the physical card. But customers need to act fast to continue using their app. As of March 31, the existing Tesco Shopping and Clubcard app won't work for both Apple iPhone and Android users, unless customers update to the refreshed app, reports the Express.
Act Fast
Tesco sent out a mass alert to its loyal customers, outlining the change. The message read: 'To increase your data protection and online security, we're updating our Tesco app to a newer version. After 31 March, older versions of the app will no longer work. To keep shopping and enjoying all of your Clubcard benefits on your app, make sure you have the latest version before 31 March. This update won't affect anything you do on tesco.com.'
How to Update
Android users, including those with Samsung devices, can update their app from the Play Store, while iPhone users can do so from the iOS store.
