A recent study has revealed a decline in Britain's wildlife knowledge, with many unable to identify common creatures such as robins, dragonflies, and badgers. The poll also found that hares, moths, and wild ponies were among the UK's wildlife adults struggled to name correctly, with over half unsure where in the UK different animals are most likely to be spotted. The research, commissioned by The Camping and Caravanning Club, discovered that 73 per cent of participants wouldn't feel confident identifying animal tracks or footprints.
