Remembering a Beloved Belfast Teacher

Tributes have been paid to an 'admired and respected' Belfast school teacher who passed away after a brief illness.

Sinead Dooher (McHugh) - A Distinguished Career
Sinead Dooher had been a teacher at Our Lady and St Patrick’s College, Knock for 28 years, an integral member of the community. She died after courageously battling a short illness surrounded by loved ones. The school community and Tyrone GAA are deeply saddened by her loss.

Deeply Mourned by the Community
Sinead joined the college in 1997, earning admiration and respect from staff and students. Known for her commitment to excellence and loyalty to #teamknock, she will be greatly missed. Our Lady and St Patrick's College, Knock, expresses condolences to her family and friends.

Final Farewell
Sinead's funeral will be held at St Therese of Lisieux Church in North Belfast, with visitation at her family home on Somerton Road. The service will be followed by interment at St Mary's Cemetery, Cloughcor, County Tyrone. Donations in her memory can be made to Trócaire. May she Rest in Peace.
