Éanna Rouine, a talented player from Ennistymon, had represented Clare at minor and under-20 levels and was also a standout for Ennistymon CBS.

He continued his sporting success with UL freshers after two years at the college. His untimely death came on Tuesday morning, following his club's heartfelt call for prayers as he was 'bravely fighting to stay with us'. Ennistymon GAA honored Éanna, calling him 'a truly talented and accomplished sportsman'.
