Tributes have been made to a 54-year-old man who died after a tragic collision in Magherafelt on Sunday. Tony Wright died in hospital following a single vehicle crash that took place on the Grange Road at around 12.10pm on June 1.

There has been an outpouring of grief on social media following Tony's passing as many pay tribute to him saying they are heartbroken at his loss. One person said: "Will miss you Tony, thanks for being part of our lives," while another said: "Such a lovely man, completely heartbroken."

Inspector Cherith Adair from the Collision Investigation Unit said: "Police received a report at around 12.10pm of a serious road traffic collision involving a silver Peugeot partner van on the Grange Road."
