Serious Crash Leaves Three Hospitalized in Lisburn

Three people have been taken to hospital following a two vehicle crash in Lisburn on Sunday evening.

Road Closure
Road users have been advised that the Lambeg Road in Lisburn remains closed in both directions after the road traffic collision. Police Lisburn and Castlereagh have shared on social media that the road is expected to remain "closed for some time" and that motorists should avoid the area if possible.

Diversions in Place
A spokesperson for the Police Service of Northern Ireland said: "Diversions are in place at the junctions with Bells Lane and River Road. Motorists should seek alternative routes for their journey."

Emergency Response
The Northern Ireland Ambulance Service was called to the scene at 4.40pm on Sunday, March 30. Following assessment and treatment at the scene, three people were taken to the Royal Victoria Hospital.
