Man Brutally Assaulted in Co Down Incident

A man has suffered a broken leg and severe injuries to his face after an attack.

Assault Details:
In an appeal issued by the PSNI, a male was seriously assaulted in the vicinity of Corn Market in Newry on Monday, April 21, 2025, at around 11:25 pm. The victim sustained serious injuries, including a broken left leg and severe swelling to his eye and face.

Appeal for Information:
A PSNI statement mentioned the involvement of a white car with two female occupants who assisted the victim. Authorities urge anyone with information to contact 101, quoting serial number CC2025042201252.
