Rory McIlroy's Jet Touches Down in Belfast en route to Europa League Final

Rory McIlroy's private jet touched down back in Northern Ireland on Wednesday morning, but only for less than an hour as he made a quick pitstop at Belfast City Airport.

Private Jet Sighting

The Masters Champion's Gulfstream G650ER was spotted at George Best Belfast City Airport at around 6.41am this morning, May 21, before departing again at 7.26am.

The £38m jet has now landed at Bilbao Airport in Northern Spain, where it's thought McIlroy, a lifelong Manchester United fan, is set to attend tonight's Europa League final to cheer on the Red Devils as they face Tottenham Hotspur at the home of Spanish side Athletic Bilbao.

Invitation to Old Trafford

Following McIlroy's Grand Slam victory, Manchester United boss Ruben Amorim sent the invitation to McIlroy via video message, expressing his admiration for Rory's achievement and hoping for his presence at Old Trafford.

When asked if he would take the Green Jacket to Old Trafford following his victory at Augusta, McIlroy expressed his willingness to share the joy of his achievement.

The five-time major winner has also hinted at a potential investment in the club in the future, revealing his desire to own a part of the team he has always supported.
