Road Closure in Lurgan Town Centre After Collision

Police closed a section of Lurgan town centre following a collision that saw one person taken to hospital.

Emergency Response at the Scene
The emergency services are currently at the scene of the collision on Church Place, which was reported shortly after midday on Thursday, May 29. One person has been taken to hospital following the collision by ambulance.

Avoid the Area
Motorists are being advised to avoid the area and find alternative routes. Church Place in Lurgan, which was closed following a road traffic collision earlier this afternoon, Thursday 29th May, has now reopened to motorists.

Police Advisory
After the collision, a PSNI spokesperson said: "Church Place in Lurgan is closed in both directions following a road traffic collision this afternoon, Thursday 29th May. Motorists are advised to avoid the area and seek alternative routes for their journey."

Ongoing Closure
Police have stated that Church Place has been closed in both directions until the incident is resolved.
