Manhunt for Suspect in UK Sex Offences Case with Possible NI Ties

The public have been warned not to approach a man wanted in connection with a number of sex offences as a manhunt continues across the UK.
Police Appeal for Information
Police in Northern Ireland have shared an appeal for help locating Derek Johnson, aged 58, who is believed to have befriended vulnerable victims online before travelling to meet them. He was arrested by Hertfordshire Police in England last month, at the request of the Gloucestershire Constabulary, but he failed to answer bail, and it's now believed he could be "anywhere in the country".
Links and Locations
The English police force said in an online appeal that he has links to Northern Ireland, as well as a string of locations in Britain. A spokesperson for police in Gloucestershire said: "We are appealing for help in locating a man wanted in connection with a number of sex offences. Derek Johnson, aged 58, is believed to have committed offences in Gloucestershire, Kent and potentially elsewhere in the UK, befriending vulnerable victims online before travelling to meet them in person."
