The official opening date of a new £5 million Home Bargains store in Carrickfergus has been confirmed by the company. The grand opening will take place at 8am this Saturday, June 7, at the Shore Commercial Park. This new store, the second in the Co Antrim town, is set to provide a bakery, cafe, and garden centre along with 79 new job opportunities in the local community.

Adrienne Wady, the store manager, expressed her pride in opening the new establishment in her hometown of Carrickfergus. With aims to offer a wide range of products, including homewares, health and beauty items, snacks, and fresh food, the 24,994 sq. ft store is ready to cater to the needs of the residents. Additionally, the store's bakery, café, and garden centre will further enhance the shopping experience.
