A large group of masked men armed with hammers forced their way into a home and smashed property, before throwing a petrol bomb as they left. The incident happened in the Killard Heights area of Newtownards on Sunday night, leaving the occupants in a state of shock and fear. Detective Sergeant Bell stated that thankfully, no further injuries were reported but the emotional toll on the occupants is significant. The police are urging anyone with information to come forward for the investigation.
