Detectives Investigating North Belfast Petrol Bomb Attack

Detectives are investigating a petrol bomb attack at a house in North Belfast. A report was received at 11pm on Saturday night (March 22), that a petrol bomb “had been thrown into the garden of a house in the Hoylake Park area of the city”.

Second Homemade Device Found

The PSNI says the device did not ignite “and only minor damage was caused”. While in attendance, officers were informed that a second homemade device had been left at the property but that it had also failed to ignite. Detectives are working to establish a motive for the incident and would ask anyone who noticed any suspicious activity in the area, or who captured dash-cam or CCTV footage which could assist with their enquiries, to contact them at Musgrave on 101, quoting reference number 1725 22/03/25.
