Schoolchild Hospitalized in Newtownards Collision Incident

A pedestrian has been taken to the hospital after a collision in the center of Newtownards.

Details of the Incident
The pedestrian, identified as a schoolchild, was injured in a collision with a vehicle around 6 pm on a Tuesday. While the PSNI has not yet released a statement, the Northern Ireland Ambulance Service confirmed they responded to a 999 call regarding a road traffic incident. According to their spokesperson, an Emergency Crew was dispatched to provide necessary treatment, and the patient was subsequently transferred to Ulster Hospital in Dundonald for further care.
