Exciting Plans Revealed for State-of-the-Art MOT Testing Facility

A new vehicle testing centre has been proposed for Derry, specifically at Campsie just outside the city. The Proposal of Application Notice has been submitted to Derry City and Strabane District Council, outlining detailed plans for the Driver and Vehicle Testing Centre. Sinn Féin MLA Pádraig Delargy praised the move, highlighting the multiple benefits it could bring to the area. The facility is expected to include various features such as a test centre building, parking areas, an HGV pre-test lay-up space, and a motorcycle off-road driving test track, among others. This initiative aims to not only increase regional testing capabilities but also contribute to road safety, employment opportunities, and overall infrastructure improvements.
