Unsolved Mystery of Teen's Murder After Leaving Dance with Stranger

Police are reviewing the murder of a Northern Ireland teenager over 50 years ago and appealing for information from the public surrounding the circumstances leading to her death.

Tragic Discovery
The body of 18-year-old Marian Beattie was found at the bottom of a quarry near Aughnacloy over 50 years ago.

Plea for Information
Detective Inspector Thompson urges anyone with details from the charity dance at Hadden’s Garage on March 30, 1973, to come forward to help the investigation and bring closure to the Beattie family.
