Dramatic Rescue: Man Hospitalized After Apartment Fire in South Belfast

A man has been taken to hospital following a fire at an apartment in South Belfast.

Emergency Response
The emergency services were called to an apartment block on Claremont Street at around 3 am on Friday, April 18, following reports of a fire at the premises. The police, fire, and ambulance service attended the scene with firefighters working to bring the blaze under control. One man was taken to hospital with injuries that are not believed to be serious at this time.

Investigation Findings
Police have confirmed that the fire is not being treated as suspicious. An APSNI spokesperson stated, "Police attended the scene of a fire in a property in the Claremont Street area of Belfast on Friday, 18th April, alongside colleagues from Northern Ireland Fire & Rescue Services and Northern Ireland Ambulance Service. One man was taken to hospital for treatment, with injuries believed to be non-serious. The fire is not being treated as suspicious."
