Young man hospitalised with multiple injuries in East Belfast collision

A man in his 20s has been taken to hospital after a road incident in East Belfast on Sunday

Collision Details
Police are appealing for witnesses after a collision on the Cregagh Road area before 5 pm on April 27. A silver BMW vehicle and an electric scrambler-style bike collided in the area of Cregagh Court off the main Cregagh Road.

Injuries and Appeal for Information
A man in his 20s was taken to the hospital by ambulance for treatment to head, shoulder, and foot injuries. The driver of the car was uninjured. The road, which was closed for a time, has since reopened. Sergeant Fisher urged anyone with information or dashcam footage to contact the police at 101, quoting reference number 1096 of 27/04/25.

Ambulance Service Response
The Northern Ireland Ambulance Service responded to a 999 call at 16:55, dispatching one Emergency Crew to the incident. Following assessment and initial treatment at the scene, one patient was taken to RVH for further care. Witnesses and individuals with information can also make a report online on the PSNI website.
