A man in his 50s is fighting for his life after a scrambler crash in West Dublin.

The man is understood to have crashed a scrambler into a lamppost in the Kippure Park area of Finglas on Saturday evening, April 26. He was taken to hospital, where his condition is understood to be critical. Response from AuthoritiesAsked for comment, the Garda press office said: 'Shortly before 5 pm on Saturday, 26th April 2025, Gardaí received a report of a serious injury collision involving a motorcycle in Kippure Park, Finglas. A man in his 50s was transported from the scene by ambulance and is currently receiving treatment at Beaumont Hospital.'
