Man Faces Charges for Threatening Supermarket Staff in Failed Robbery

One man has charged to court after allegedly threatening staff at a supermarket during an attempted robbery. Incident Details
At around 5.25 pm on Friday evening, March 7, it was reported to the police that two men entered the premises in the Warren Gardens area of Lisburn. One of the men was armed with a knife, and they demanded money from staff. The men left the scene without taking anything. Shortly after, the two 33-year-old men were arrested. Legal Proceedings
In an update on Sunday, the PSNI confirmed that one man has been charged with attempted robbery and possession of an offensive weapon with intent to commit an indictable offence. He is due to appear at Lisburn Magistrates’ Court on Monday, March 10. The second man, also arrested, has been released on bail pending further enquiries. Appeal for Information
