Arrest Made in Bangor

A man has been charged after a firearms incident in the High Street area of Bangor, Co Down. The 45-year-old suspect is facing charges of possession of a firearm with intent to cause fear of violence and assault on police. He is scheduled to appear before Newtownards Magistrates' Court on Saturday, May 24. The case is set to be reviewed by the Public Prosecution Service.
