Police Seize £165k in Suspected Criminal Cash After Man's Arrest on A1

A man has been arrested after a vehicle containing a large sum in suspected criminal cash was intercepted on the A1 in Co Down.

The PSNI’s Roads Policing Unit halted a vehicle near Banbridge, leading to the discovery of approximately £165,000 in suspected criminal cash, which was seized.
Arrest and Follow-up
The man, 33, was arrested on suspicion of possession of criminal property and remains in custody. Follow-up searches in west Belfast resulted in the seizure of a quantity of suspected herbal cannabis, cash, drug supply paraphernalia, and ammunition.
