Narrow Escape: Lisburn Man Uninjured After Arson Attack on Property

A man has escaped injury after an arson attack in Lisburn has caused damage to the rear wall of a property.
Investigation Underway
At around 2.50pm on Tuesday, March 11, police received a report that the rear wall of a house in the Huguenot Drive area had been set alight. The fire was extinguished by the Northern Ireland Fire and Rescue Service and a man who was inside the property at the time was uninjured.
Police Response
Detective Inspector Bell stated, “Police received a report at approximately 2.50pm, on Tuesday 11th March, that the rear wall of a house in the Huguenot Drive area had been set alight. We are treating this report as arson with intent to endanger life and our investigation is underway to determine exactly what happened, a motive, and who was involved. Anyone with information is urged to come forward for assistance in the investigation.”
