Capturing the Joy: Belfast Students Unite for 'All in One Day' Extravaganza

Primary school children in south Belfast gathered for an inclusive day of sports and community-building activities as part of the BSCR’s All in One Day event. This cross-community project, supported by a Community Cohesion Grant, brought together pupils from six primary schools to foster positive social interactions and friendships. Encouraging New Connections
Aimee Miller, Transitions Coordinator at BSCR, expressed gratitude towards the Housing Executive for their funding support, emphasizing the significance of creating a welcoming environment for students transitioning to secondary school. The day at Queen’s PEC featured a variety of sports and wellbeing activities, encouraging the children to meet and connect with peers from diverse backgrounds. Building Bridges for the Future
The participating schools, including Blythfield Primary School, Donegall Primary School, and St Malachy’s Primary School, embraced the opportunity to promote community cohesion through active participation and social engagement. As the students prepare for the next chapter in their education journey, events like these play a vital role in fostering a sense of belonging and camaraderie among the youth.
