Two sisters from Northern Ireland are preparing to take part in a charity walk which has a personal closeness to them both. It will take part ten years to the day when Lorraine Wilson saved her sister Linda's life. Linda Manley, who is from Fermanagh, was going through mental health struggles at this time. She says she was at "rock bottom" and was helped by her sister.

AWARE NI's Giant Steps 2025
They will now both take part in AWARE NI’s Giant Steps 2025 on May 17, a walk during Mental Health Awareness Week that will unite hundreds of people across Northern Ireland. The event raises funds and awareness for essential mental health services, including AWARE NI's peer-led support groups.
