Dan Gyollai confident Glentoran squad will bounce back from cup defeat

Dan Gyollai backs Glentoran's Comeback
Dan Gyollai has backed Glentoran's 'hurting' squad to bounce back from Sunday's BetMcLean Cup agony. The Glens suffered a 1-0 defeat to Cliftonville, with Joe Gormley the Reds' hero at Windsor Park. Declan Devine's side haven't had long to mourn the loss, having to turn their focus to Wednesday night's Premiership clash with Glenavon.
Character and Determination
Gyollai said: “We’re all hurting after Sunday. It was an intense, end-to-end game, almost like a basketball match at times, where it felt like one goal would decide it. Unfortunately, it went against us. However, this squad is full of character and we have to show that now. The players feel the pain of the fans, the staff, and everyone connected to this club, but we can’t let one game define our season.
