Investigation Launched as Man's Body Found in Donegal Home

Police in the Republic have initiated a probe after a man in his 60s was discovered deceased in a Donegal residence. Investigation Details

At approximately 12:20pm on Sunday, April 13, Gardai and emergency services responded to a report of a man found unresponsive at a residence on Harbour View Drive in Killybegs, Donegal. The man, aged in his 60s, was pronounced deceased at the scene a short time later. His body remains at the scene, which is currently preserved for forensic examination. Further Examination

The local Coroner has been notified, and a postmortem examination by the Republic's State Pathologist will be arranged. The results of the postmortem examination will determine the course of the investigation. Appeal for Information

Gardai are appealing for witnesses and those with information to come forward. A Garda spokesperson said: "Gardai in Donegal are investigating all of the circumstances surrounding the discovery of a body in Killybegs this afternoon, Sunday, 13 April".
