Fontaines D.C. to Headline Belfast Vital 2025 with Special Guests Kneecap

Irish quintet Fontaines D.C. have announced their biggest headline Irish show to date. They are set to perform at Belfast Vital, Boucher Road Playing Fields, on Friday August 29, joined by special guests Kneecap.

2024 - A Defining Year

A statement said: 2024 was a defining year for Fontaines D.C., with ROMANCE lauded as one of the year’s very best albums, cementing their status as one of the most exciting bands in contemporary music. Topping multiple ‘album of the year’ lists around the world, the James Ford-produced album was quickly certified gold in the UK and saw the band winning a BRIT Award and nominated for two GRAMMYs, among a host of accolades. It was a celebration of Fontaines D.C.’s ambitious world-building and bold musical evolution.

Tickets go on sale on Friday, April 25 at 10 am via Ticketmaster.ie. For artist pre-sale, fans can sign up to the Fontaines D.C. mailing list before 8 am Wednesday, April 23, for early access to the pre-sale, which opens at 10 am on Wednesday, April 23. Customers of Three UK can also access pre-sale tickets for Belfast Vital through its rewards app, Three+. The pre-sale runs from 10 am on Wednesday, April 23 for up to 48 hours.
