Irish Player's €255,000 Win

An Irish EuroMillions player has won over a quarter of a million euro in Tuesday's draw, which had a total worth of just over €198 million. Neither the main jackpot, valued at €198,011,279, nor theEuroMillions Plus jackpot, worth €500,000, were claimed on the night. However, an Irish player was the lucky recipient of a special draw running throughout May. The fortunate punter became the eighth winner this month of a guaranteed €255,000, with the usual Ireland-Only Raffle prize of €5,000 boosted by an impressive €250,000.

Winning Numbers and Prizes

The winning Raffle code was I-SDL-14299 and the other nine codes, each worth €5,000 to the holders, can be viewed here. In total, more than 59,000 players in Ireland won prizes in the EuroMillions and Plus games, ranging from €4 right up to €255,000. This includes one player who pocketed €22,752 for matching five numbers in the main EuroMillions draw, reports the Irish Mirror. The winning numbers in that draw were 12, 30, 38, 40 and 41, with the Lucky Stars being 4 and 12. Meanwhile, the winning numbers in the EuroMillions Plus draw were 4, 7, 26, 44 and 50.

Upcoming Jackpot

As the jackpot went unclaimed on Tuesday night, Friday's jackpot is set to soar above €200 million. It will also be the final time this month that there will be a guaranteed Irish winner of €250,000 in the Ireland-Only raffle.
