Shocking New Twist in Nate Robinson Murder Mystery

Emmerdale fans are convinced they've worked out the latest Nate Robinson murder suspect, and it's not John Sugden or Cain Dingle. Soap viewers will know that villain John (Oliver Farnworth) killed Nate (Jurell Carter) after the barn fire last year.

Flashback Revelations
In a flashback clip, John was seen injecting Nate with an unknown substance with the intention of "saving" him. However, Nate had an adverse reaction to the medication and tragically died. After discovering Nate's lifeless body, John drove him to the bridge and pushed the concealed corpse into the lake where the limo crash notably took place. Over eight months on from the events of the barn fire, Nate's body was pulled out of the lake by police, with suspicions quickly circling through the village.

New Suspicions Arise
Nate's father, Cain (Jeff Hordley), was the first person the police looked into after he had a huge argument with his son on his final day in the village. Plus, some of the villagers have recently cast their suspicions over Nate's wife, Tracy Robinson's (Amy Walsh) erratic behaviour. On Monday (June 9), DS Walsh (Amanda Ryan) interviewed John about the day of the barn fire after Tracy told her that he had been the last person to see Nate.

Police Investigation
During Wednesday's (June 11) episode, which is now available to stream on ITVX, the police turned up at Tug Ghyll with a warrant to search the property. Tracy and her sister, Vanessa Woodfield (Michelle Hardwick), were taken aback when the police revealed that they had found Nate's phone in her daughter Frankie's (Eden Ratcliffe-Knights) playhouse. Following the discovery, Tracy was soon taken to the police station for questioning.
