Vital Rescue Equipment Stolen in Crumlin Fire Station Burglary

A "large quantity" of vital equipment has been stolen from a Co Antrim fire station in an overnight burglary.

At around 7.40 am on Tuesday, March 11, police received a report detailing the burglary at Crumlin Fire Station located on the Mill Road. The stolen equipment, crucial for rescuing casualties in severe road traffic collisions, has raised concerns within the community and prompted a police appeal for information.
Appeal for Return of Equipment
According to Ryan Thompson, Northern Area Commander of the Northern Ireland Fire & Rescue Service, the operational response capability to road traffic collisions has been impacted due to the theft. He expressed disappointment over the targeting of the fire service and urged for the immediate return of the stolen items.
