Coronation Street Star Teases Dangerous Events Involving Gary

One Coronation Street star has warned that 'something bad happens' with Gary Windass in upcoming scenes.
It comes as new spoilers tease danger for Gary as he appears to go missing, leaving his family concerned. Trouble Brewing at the Cobbles
Earlier this week, after supporting Lou Michaelis following her husband Mick Michaelis' arrest for killing police officer Craig Tinker, Gary finally saw her true colours. On Friday night, Gary's wife, Maria Connor, who has been suspicious of Lou, found her looking over the salon's cash at the Platt family's home during their summer barbeque. Despite Lou deciding not to take it, Maria jumped to conclusions and a scuffle ensued, where Lou tripped and fell through David Platt's prized glass coffee table.
Following the incident, Gary took Lou to hospital, where they shared a charged look, while Maria was wrongly arrested for Actual Bodily Harm (ABH) after Lou claimed her son, Brody, called the police on her. On Monday night, Lou headed to Gary's place to thank him, where the two shared a drink alone while Maria was out. After memorising Gary's passcode, Lou seized the opportunity to send herself an incriminating text from his device while he was in the toilet. Later, Lou tried to kiss Gary who refused her advances before she blackmailed him, warning him to do what she asks or she will tell Maria.
However, Gary dared Lou to tell Maria as nothing had happened and later he declared to his family that he was leaving the cobbles to go and stay with his mum for a while. Maria was left suspicious as she outright asked if he had cheated on her with Lou to which he denied while a smug Lou was seen reading over the text she sent herself from Gary's phone. It read: 'I want you. When can I see you again?'
With Gary leaving the cobbles on Monday night, it appears his departure soon causes concern. In spoilers for next week, a worried Liam confides in Maria that Gary isn't answering his calls and he should have been back from his mum's house by now to which Maria masks her concerns for Liam. It comes as Coronation Street star Jack P Shepherd recently teased danger for Gary on the cobbles. The David Platt actor told Digital Spy: '[Mick's] still in it and he's still doing naughty, bad things. I'm kind of involved in that, in a way. 'And then something happens with Gary. Something bad happens with Gary. I'm kind of involved in that.'
