Coronation Street's Samia Longchambon has taken to Instagram to share a heartfelt tribute to the chef who keeps the cast nourished on the ITV soap set. In a behind-the-scenes snap from the canteen, Samia is seen with her arm around Leon, the chef, as they pose for the camera. Unsung Hero Chef Leon

Sharing the photo on her Instagram Story, Samia penned: 'This is our lovely chef at Corrie. Unsung hero and feeder who makes the most delicious lunches every day that keep us going! Thanks Leon.. We appreciate you!'

This comes after Samia shared a rare message from her teenage daughter Freya, who tends not to feature often on her social media. Samia had previously explained that Freya chose to step back from the limelight. However, this didn't prevent Freya from using her own social media to honour her mum on Mothering Sunday. Samia reshared the post from her daughter to her own Instagram Story, prompting a heartwarming exchange between the two.
