Emma Watts Star Stuns Fans with Timeless Look in Coronation Street Reunion

Coronation Street fans were quick to say Emma Watts star Angela Lonsdale "hasn't aged at all" as she reunited with an ITV co-star. The actress, 57, played police officer Emma on the hit ITV soap from 2000 to 2003, where she was married to legendary character Curly Watts. Since leaving the cobbles, Angela has appeared in Holby City, Doctors, This Is England '90, Our Girl, The Syndicate and Hollyoaks to name a few.

Reunion with Co-Stars

Only recently, Angela reunited with former Coronation Street co-star, Sally Dynevor, who is still on the cobbles as Sally Metcalfe. The duo were also joined by Sally's daughter, Hattie Dynevor, who plays Libby Guthrie on Waterloo Road. The actress penned: "Wishing you The Happiest Birthday my beautiful angel @sallydynevor , Thank you for being the Best Friend anyone could wish for ! Have the most wonderful time with @dynevortim ! Love you with all my heart and soul #birthdaylove #bestfriend #happybirthday #wecomeasone." Commenting on her Instagram, one person said: "You really haven’t changed a bit darling", a different account wrote: "You really haven't aged at all wow beautiful both inside and out", another put: "You’ve hardly changed since I met you 35 years ago" while a different account added: "You really haven’t changed a bit darling." Responding to all the lovely messages, Angela penned: "Corrie Legend and Not aged a day. Well ill take that any day of the week."

Regular Reunions

Meanwhile, earlier this week, Angela reunited with Sally once again, as well as Denise Welch, who played Natalie Barnes from 1997 to 2000, and Samia Longchambon, who currently plays Maria Connor. Loose Women star Denise, 67, shared a snap to her Instagram Story and penned: "Back with the girls again!" Angela regularly keeps in touch with her former co-stars and in 2023 she posed for a fun reunion snap with her on-screen Corrie husband Curly Watts star Kevin Kennedy. Taking to Instagram to shared the sweet snap, Angela penned: "Reunited with my corrie hubby @realkevinkennedy Break a leg pet! @rockofagesmusicaluk." At the time, soap watchers went wild for the reunion as one person commented: "You both look the same! Loved you both in Corrie. Wish you could come back xx" while a different account put: "Bring back you two ! We need you in Corrie!" Coronation Street airs Monday, Wednesday, and Friday at 8 pm on ITV1 and ITV X.
