Remembering Oonagh Burns: A Touching Tribute by Co Tyrone Siblings

A Strabane nurse who sadly died following a collision on the A5have described her as someone with a "special gift for helping and caring for people". Subheading Oonagh Burns sadly died following a single-vehicle collision on the Victoria Road, near Bready in Co Tyrone, the Victoria Road stretch of the road near Bready on April 7 last year. Her siblings, brother Paddy and sister Teresa, are now set to run the Strabane Lifford Half Marathon next month in her memory, and in aid of the Alzheimer's Society.
Subheading Oonagh Burns dedicated her life to caring for people suffering from Alzheimer’s and Dementia at the Three Rivers Care Home in Omagh where she worked, and her siblings want to continue her legacy by raising funds for the charity at the event on Sunday May 18th. "Oonagh had such a special gift for helping and caring for people– it wasn’t just her job; it was her calling," sister Teresa said.
