Shock Awaits! Cavan vs Donegal Clash: Live Score Updates

After upsetting the odds against Mayo, Cavan bids for another shock in the All-Ireland series against Donegal this afternoon. Ulster Champions Face Setback
Raymond Galligan’s men were beaten by Tyrone in the Ulster SFC quarter-final and were handed a difficult draw when pitched into Group One with the Red Hands, Ulster champions Donegal and beaten Connacht finalists Mayo. However, the Breffnimen have given themselves a real chance of progressing to the knockout stages and they welcomed back star attacker Paddy Lynch against Mayo in Castlebar.
Donegal's Determination
Donegal played four games to win Ulster and are facing their sixth all-Ulster Championship clash of 2025 today. Last weekend’s loss to Tyrone in Ballybofey was their first defeat in League or Championship under Jim McGuinness at MacCumhaill Park. The back-to-back Ulster champions will be keen to return to winning ways this afternoon.
Team News
Shaun Patton has been ruled out with Gavin Mulreaney starting in goals for Donegal. Dáire Ó Baoill and Oisin Gallen are also out of the starting 15 with Caolan McColgan and Conor O’Donnell drafted in. Cavan have also made a number of late changes with Cian Madden and Sean McEvoy in for Jason McLoughlin and Ryan O’Neill.
That's it for now. Stay tuned for more updates as the game progresses.
