Discovery of Body on Millisle Beach Unravels Investigation Progress

A body found on a beach in Co Down has been identified.

Investigation Update
On Wednesday, May 21, authorities were called to the scene on Millisle beach after a deceased male was discovered. The PSNI confirmed the identification of the body and stated that family members have been contacted. The death is not considered suspicious at this time. The remains, in a state of decomposition, were taken for examination and formal identification. A PSNI spokesperson reported, "The body found in the Donaghadee Road area of Millisle has been identified as male."
