Fundraiser Smashes Target in 24 Hours

A fundraiser for a Filipino man whose home was targeted in a racist attack in Ballymena has raised thousands of pounds in just over 24 hours. Kevin Rous, a mechanic at the nearby Wrightbus Factory, had his car destroyed and Cullybackey home damaged in an arson attack during violent disorder in Ballymena on Monday night.

Supporting the Community

Following the attack on Kevin's home, a fundraiser has been set up by Zuzanna Dziwulska in the hopes of supporting the mechanic and helping him to get back on his feet. Zuzanna emphasized that the initiative has no political intent, aiming to provide assistance to innocent individuals impacted by recent events in the area. The response has been overwhelming, with donations exceeding expectations and the community rallying together to show solidarity and support.
