Tragic Accident: American Woman Killed in North Coast Crash

A woman has sadly died following a crash on the north coast earlier on Wednesday. Emergency Response Emergency services were called to the scene near a hotel in Bushmills in Co Antrim after lunchtime on June 11 where a woman was struck by a car. The NIAS confirmed the road traffic incident involved a car and person, and the Northern Ireland Fire and Rescue Service assisted in "releasing" the patient before being taken to the Causeway Hospital. Confirmation of Fatality APSNI spokesperson has now confirmed the woman, in her 40s, has passed away due to her injuries. She has been named as Allison Eichner from the Connecticut Area of the United States. Arrest Made One person has been arrested in connection to the incident. Detective Inspector Cherith Adair said: 'Police received and responded to a report of a collision shortly before 12.30pm. Colleagues from the emergency services also attended the scene.'
